Manufacturing process of polysilicon solar panel:


Polysilicon solar cell modules are made of polysilicon ingots by casting and directional solidification, then polysilicon wafers are made by cutting, polishing and other processes, and then by cleaning, diffusion, deposition, reverse film, silk screen electrode and sintering and other processes. The casting method does not need to go through the single crystal drawing process to produce polysilicon wafers, which consumes less energy than the single crystal silicon cells, and the shape is not limited, so it can be made into a convenient square for photovoltaic module layout. All the mature processes of monocrystalline silicon cells can be applied in the manufacture of polycrystalline silicon cells except the single crystal drawing process is not required. Polysilicon cells can be as efficient as 18%, slightly less than monocrystalline cells. Compared with monocrystalline silicon cells, although the efficiency of polycrystalline silicon cells is reduced, it can save energy and silicon raw materials, so as to achieve a balance between process cost and efficiency.


In order to obtain the required output power of polysilicon solar cells in series or parallel, and to protect solar cells from mechanical damage and environmental damage, solar cells must be encapsulated into components by means of glue sealing and lamination. Vacuum laminating encapsulation process is usually adopted for large-area solar cell modules: two layers of hot-melt EVA film are used to clamp the solar cell in the middle, and through vacuum heating lamination, EVA film binds the battery sheet, low-iron tempered glass front cover plate and polyfluoroethylene composite film back plate as a whole, and the periphery is fixed with aluminum alloy frame. Low power solar cell modules are usually encapsulated with epoxy resin. There are also solar cell modules enclosed by double-sided glass. These modules are beautiful in appearance and can partially transmit light, and have been widely used in photovoltaic buildings.
